According to the Greek legend, on his way back from slaying Medusa, Perseus encountered Andromeda chained to a cliff as a sacrifice for a sea monster. He then swooped in on his winged sandals, killed the monster, freed the beautiful Andromeda and married her. In my version the sea monster and Andromeda are buddies (or perhaps something more ), and she is his hero-bait (heroes are the greatest delicacy for a sea monster, you know).
